Gerrimae - Owner/Fitness Instructor
With over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, Gerrimae brings expertise in strength training, TRX, and rowing to every class she leads. Her teaching style is fueled by energy, encouragement, and a genuine passion for helping people feel strong and capable.
She creates workouts that challenge and inspire, while keeping things fun and accessible for all levels. Guided by the belief that our true strength comes from spirit as much as muscle, Gerrimae empowers her students to move with confidence—both inside and outside the studio.
Leyna - Yoga Teacher
An experienced practitioner and thoughtful yoga teacher, Leyna guides busy people to slow down, focus on themselves, and fully experience the present moment. Her alignment-focused classes are inclusive, accessible, and fun—yet still offer a challenge that leaves students feeling both grounded and energized.
With nearly 20 years of practice in a variety of yogic modalities, Leyna holds a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification and a 50-hour Yin Yoga certification. Her classes are warm, informative, and welcoming, offering something meaningful for every body and every experience level.
Mel - Pilates Teacher
Mel is passionate about studio group fitness, especially dance-inspired classes! With a background as both a dancer and dance instructor, she discovered her fitness passion eight years ago as a certified Barre fitness instructor.
Since then, she has expanded her training to include Neu Pilates, allowing her to bring a functional, fun, and music-inspired approach to every class she teaches. Mel is dedicated to delivering full-body workouts that are accessible to all fitness levels. She’s excited to connect with the Sol Motion community and move together with joy and purpose!
Tasha - Owner
An independent spirit rooted in the lush landscapes of her family farm, Tasha brings warmth, creativity, and a strong community focus to everything she does. Passionate about movement, music, and creative expression, she plays an important role in shaping the welcoming, inclusive atmosphere of the studio.
A non-conformist at heart, Tasha finds freedom in nature, art, and self-expression. She brings vibrant color and creativity into everything she touches—from hand-dyed wool to expressive paintings and thoughtfully arranged garden flowers—living and working with fierce authenticity and a deep connection to the earth.
Darlana - Fitness Instructor
With over 13 years of experience as a fitness instructor, Darlana brings an infectious mix of energy, enthusiasm, and fun to every class. Known for her early morning sparkle, she’s always ready to get the party (and the sweat) started—yes, even at 6:30 a.m.!
By day, Darlana works as a scheduler of operations at a local mill, but fitness has long been her joyful, energizing side gig. She’s passionate about creating a space where movement feels exciting, playful, and welcoming for everyone who joins her.
Kristy- Strength and Mobility Teacher
Kristy is passionate and enthusiastic about movement, alignment and music. Her challenging and fun class will inform and inspire knowledge of your anatomy.
With over 15 years of practice in a variety of styles, Kristy holds a 200hr LYT method, 200hr hatha, restorative, and chair yoga training. Currently working towards 500hr LYT. When she is not on the mat you can find her at the record shop, in the garden, or hiking with her partner and pups.
Danielle - Owner/Yoga Instructor
With seven years of experience teaching yoga, Danielle offers classes in Yin, Hatha, Power Yoga, and trauma-informed practices. Her approach blends mindful movement with a focus on creating a safe, inclusive space where students can explore both strength and stillness.
Guided by a belief in slow, intentional growth, Danielle weaves warmth, curiosity, and integrity into every class. She invites students to connect more deeply with themselves—on and off the mat.
Mitzi - Career and Life Coach/Facilitator
MMitzi Jones is an international artist, actress, and career and life coach with more than 25 years of experience. She began her training in Vancouver before performing across world stages from London and New York to Rome, and now calls qathet home.
Trained in Lee Strasberg’s Relaxation technique, Mitzi helps people release tension, reconnect with their bodies, and move with authenticity and freedom. Through this practice and her mentorship, she has guided many toward greater self-awareness, truth, and liberation in how they live and move.
Rachelle - Yoga/Pilates/Eldoa Teacher
Rachelle “Rara” Gura walked away from the corporate telecom matrix in 2005 and into the world of movement that actually heals. Teaching yoga, Pilates, Eldoa, Fascia release across Toronto and beyond, appearing at Yogapalooza, on Zoomer TV, the Sweet Equity stage and now co-creates live music–movement experiences as half of the Yongos duo. Headed anatomy training for three yoga studios on the East Coast, bringing depth and clarity to how the body truly works.
Rara’s classes don’t demand—they nourish. She’s known for giving love to the forgotten parts: nervous, vestibular systems, spine, toes, pelvic floor... the hidden architecture that holds everything together. Her style is precise but playful, grounding yet liberating, with just enough edge to remind you you’re alive. Come if you want to care for your body in ways it’s been craving—not to whip it into shape, but to finally listen.
